HOW TO ARRIVE
ARRIVING TO LLANGOLLEN
The closest airport to Llangollen is Liverpool airport, from there we recommend renting a car and driving to Llangollen as public transport is quite limited. Another option is Manchester Airport which is just slightly further.
IMPORTANT: If you are coming from Liverpool and cross the Mersey Bridge, remember to pay the toll online within 48 hours via the website here:
https://www.merseyflow.co.uk/
If you prefer not to drive then, the nearest main-line rail station is Ruabon. It has trains to London via Crewe or Birmingham New Street that take 3.5 hours.
From Ruabon, we believe there are regular buses to Llangollen that might take around 20-30min.
Another option is to catch a bus or train to Wrexham, from where there are also regular buses to Llangollen.
Please, check it all out in advance, these options can be a little bit of an adventure so, be prepared!

If you choose to stay at The Wild Pheasant Hotel & Spa or another location outside of the town, please let us know and we will try to arrange a bus stop directly there on the way back at night after the wedding party (if needed!)
There are many more in town that look great.
We also recommend looking for airbnb’s (or similar!) in town (if you are driving after the party we are sure there are great options in the surrounding areas and not just in town)
If you choose to stay anywhere else that is not the town of Llangollen and you don’t want to drive after the party we highly recommend you book a taxi in advance.
